Atlant-Soyuz, Airline of the Moscow Government, is happy to present you with a new direct flight route Moscow-Gjendja. Flight operations begin from August 6 and are performed every Monday and Thursday.
The Gjendja City is the second manufacturing and cultural centre of Azerbaijan after Baku situated at the foot of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains.
For many centuries of its history, this city has gained many historical and architectural landmarks with a clear-cut Azerbaijani national coloring. The ruins of ancient walls, towers, bridges, caravanserai, i.e. a camping and recreation area of caravans, the building of Khan Treasury, mausoleums and mosques have survived in the historical part of the city.
The city is also famous by the fact that the great Azerbaijani poet, i.e. Nizami Gjendjevi, was born here. His mausoleum is the place that is specifically attractive to the tourists.
Amongst natural attractions of Gjendja, Gek-Gel wildlife sanctuary situated within the suburbs of the city is also worth mentioning; the like-named lake being located at its territory. Lake Gek-Gel is one of the most beautiful natural landmarks of Azerbaijan.
