Atlant-Soyuz celebrates its 16th birthday!

Mr. Eugene Bachurin, CEO, congratulated the personnel of Atlant-Soyuz Incorporated on the birthday of the Airline!
Dear Colleagues,I am delighted to congratulate you on the date, which is a most important to all of us – 16 years of our Airline! June 8, 1993 it was the first time the aircraft with the logo of Atlant-Soyuz became airborne. These days it is suggested that one should say about the results and future plans. The history of the Airline is the history of development of Russian Civil Aviation in modern times. Atlant-Soyuz is well known as not only as a reliable cargo and passenger air carrier performing both charter and regular flights, moreover, the Airline proved to take an active part in completing UN missions, it used to deliver national relics and shrines to Russia, it provided evacuation of Russian citizens from conflict zones, as well as help to people who suffered from natural disasters in different regions all over the world. Pursuing a deep feeling of responsibility for Atlant-Soyuz historical data, now we are launching its new stage of development. Our main attention should be focused on establishing the system of regular passenger flight operations and increasing the aircraft fleet. The development of regular flight operations suggests using new opportunities at Vnukovo international airport that now requires a basic net air carrier. Our goal is to provide flight operations en route all main towns of Russia and CIS, in the nearest future we are aimed at launching new routes to European destinations. We are targeted at developing the strategy of the air fleet suggesting domination of aircraft manufactured in Russia. The Airline reviews the perspective of purchasing aircraft produced in Russia, in particular A/C AN-148, TU-154 SM, as well as a promising aircraft MC-21, now being developed. Our main goal is to make Atlant-Soyuz the leading carrier of the aircraft manufactured in Russia. Now five remaining A/C Boeing 737-800 NG, which were previously leased in 2008, have already been on the run for service release. Besides, four new aircraft of the same model shall come into the Airline in 2010 and 2011 accordingly. This will lead Atlant-Soyuz to a practically new operational level, whereas flight operations performed on these aircraft will significantly decrease costs of their operation. The core advantages of the Airline shall be comfort, reliability and safety. First and for most, it is convenient slot time for departures, precise flight connections that save the passenger’s time, smoothly running system of informing the clients of Atlant-Soyuz about its services, the use of modern systems of air ticket sales. In order to make the Airline’s services more attractive, we are planning modifications for passenger cabin configuration of the aircraft that perform flights on a regular basis, as well as improving on board service and developing a procedure for comfortable ground handling. Supported by your invaluable experience, I am fully concerned, that together we can keep the company during a long-lasting economic crisis, as well as lead it the top positions in the system of Russian Civil Aviation.
