Eugene Bachurin has been appointed Director General of Atlant-Soyuz Airline

May 27, 2009 in accordance with the resolutions made on the general shareholders meeting of Air Company “Atlant-Soyuz” Incorporated Mr. Eugene Viktorovich Bachurin was appointed Director General of the Airline.
Taking into consideration the new goals that Mr. Bachurin declared, within the nearest months a new strategy of the Airline will be presented at the Board of Directors. The prime goal of this document will imply expanding regular passenger operations, developing aircraft fleet and improving passenger service.

Mr. Eugene Bachurin has got more than thirteen years experience of working if aviation industry and a reputation of a highly professional manager. Before this appointment Mr. Eugene Bachurin held the position of Head of Air Transport Federal Agency.

Atlant-Soyuz Airline was founded in 1993 and now it is the official air carrier of the Moscow Government. The aircraft fleet of the airline consists of A/C TU-154M, IL-86, Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-800 and Embraer-120.

Vnukovo International Airport is the base airport of the Airline.

Mr. Eugene Viktorovich Bachurin was born in Moscow in 1964.

In 1986 he graduated from Moscow State Teachers Training Institute of Foreign Languages named after Maurice Thorez. Ph. D. in Economics.

After leaving the Soviet army he was employed translator of the Spanish language in a military unit situated in the Republic of Cuba.

1996-1999 he worked for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

1999-2000 he took the position of deputy director general advisor for financial, economic and commercial activities of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian International Airlines”.

2000-2001 he was appointed Director of Revenue Management Department of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian International Airlines”.

2001-2006 he worked as Chief Commercial Officer of Air Transport Federal Agency.

April 2007 through October 2008 he was Head of Air Transport Federal Agency.

May 27, 2009 he was appointed Director General of Atlant-Soyuz Airline by Board Resolution.

Awarded with the medal “Seventy years of USSR Military Forces”, “Aeroflot Expert” badge, “Air Transport Expert” badge, “Eighty five years of Civil Aviation”.
