Security control
To ensure your personal safety onboard the aircraft you will be required to undergo the pre-flight security inspection.
Baggage and hand luggage screening as well as physical inspection
are carried out after check-in. Passengers checking in for international flights are screened and inspected after passing
customs and immigration control.
Security inspection is implemented for all domestic and international flights performed by aircraft belonging to aviation
entities, airlines and other operators regardless of ownership and identity. Passenger of charter flights are subject to
inspection on the same standard terms. Transit passengers are subject to security check if, upon leaving the aircraft, they
stayed in the airport Sterile Area, i.e. the isolated area where passengers await boarding after passing security check.
At the airport security point each passenger will be required to produce a valid ticket, boarding pass and one of the
identification documents listed below:
- Valid Russian Federation national passport;
- The Russian Federation International Passport, or Diplomatic Passport, or Service Passport;
- Valid national passport (for foreign nationals);
- Russian residence permit (for stateless persons);
- Valid birth certificate (for Russian citizens under 14 y.o);
- Valid Seaman's Passport or Seaman's Book for travelling on duty.
- Valid Temporary Identification Card of The Russian Federation National.
- Permit to Return to the country of citizenship.
- Valid Russian Military Officer's ID or Warrant Officer's ID or a CIS military officer's ID, except Georgia.
- Valid Russian Military Card ("Voenniy Bilet") with records of service (for conscripts and contract military staff).
- Travel Document (for stateless persons or refugees);
- The United Nations Laissez-Passer issued for official travel purposes.
- Identification Card of the Member of the State Duma or the Member of the Council of Federation of the Federal
Assembly of the Russian Federation (for domestic flights only).
- The Warrant of Discharge issued to convicts upon release.
- Certificate issued to convicts who were granted a long or short-term leave from custody.
